1-2-3-4 . . . get your booty on the floor!

Day 3, good stuff! The easiest day so far, thank goodness! I needed a break doing just arms and shoulders because I was barely able to even bend over, due to my plyometrics thigh aching aftermath. I seriously was like an old lady slowly trying to lower myself on the floor to do some of the workouts, embarassing! Joey and I also took our P90X 'before' shots last night, yikes! Don't get excited, (Amy that means you, you picture junkie!), I am NOT posting the pics . . . well not yet anyway. It's one of those things that, if all goes well, I'll feel more comfy posting them once I have lost weight. I know you girls know what I mean. Like you don't want to admit what you weighed until you don't weigh that anymore.

I also told my husband, maybe for the first time ever, my actual weight. Again, don't get excited, I'm not posting that either :). As scary as it was, it felt great to be that honest with him! He has been so supportive these last few days and I truly am more in love than ever. (Make the appropriate gagging noises if need be ;)) I have been missing him like crazy because of his crazy work schedule and this workout has in a weird way brought us so close. It has opened up some great conversations, and now more than ever, I want to get back to the girl he started dating 9 years ago; at least as close as I can with this 'deformed' baby belly. I've resisted, but I want to just feel comfortable in my own skin, and honestly, it has been too too too long since I felt that way.

While, I have been P90X and baby obsessed as of late, I have also found time to finish reading Jodi Picoult's newest book, 'House Rules' today; which not to brag, is totally awesome reading on my iPad! I was turned onto her novels because they're my love Amy's favorites. I recommend this book highly to you all. It's a really gripping story about a teenage boy with Asperger's Syndrome who is accused of murder. I love Piccoult because she's a master of dissecting the inner workings of families. If you're interested, I track all of the books I read on a really cool website, www.goodreads.com. My oldest friend MarJean turned me onto this site a couple of years ago. It let's you track the books you're reading, rate them, and keep up with what your friends are reading too. Ask to be my friend if you decide to join the site :) I am in the middle of reading another Jodi Piccoult book, 'Handle With Care.' It's about a little girl born with a terrible bone disorder. I was honestly having a hard time getting through it, too depressing, too close to home with all the baby stuff, but I'm giving it another go; wish me luck!

Well that's all for today, mainly since I just turned the channel and the end of 'Footloose' is on, nooch!! Wish me luck for tonight's yoga DVD, hope it doesn't kill me or Joey, yikes bikes!
